There has been a constant debate going on over the 'Supermodel' tag being used for the social media generation models Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid. When Kendall Jenner won the coveted position on the cover of Vogue September issue it was seen as a marketing gimmick to capture the millions of social media followers rather than a work of art as it should be. While grabbing the cover of Vogue has made Kendall Jenner the unofficial most sought after model, she is not yet the indisputable 'Queen' of the ramp as far as the market value is concerned.
According to Forbes list of Highest earning model in the last financial year, Kendall has a long way to go before she reach the top. The top spot still belongs to Gisele Bundchen who earns at least thrice as much ($30.5M) as her nearest competitor, Adrian Lima($10.5M). Kendall Jenner is a close third with $10M in earnings last financial year and Gigi Hadid follows up with $9M in 5th position. And it's no secret that almost all of the models in Top 10 models have walked the ramp for Victoria's Secret. Checkout the Top 10 model list to get a measure of how much a 'Supermodel' tag is worth.
