MTV Video Music Awards is a platform for the next generation. Whether it is the music or the fashion MTV VMAs are geared towards the young and energetic. Celebs from all sphere be it actors, singer or sportsman brought out their top (fashion) game at the MTV VMAs 2016 at the Madison Square Garden in NYC but not all could make it to our "Most Eye Catching Red Carpet Looks" List. Model Stella Maxwell passed the red carpet at MTV VMAs 2016 at the Madison square Garden with flying colors and quite literally so. In a no holds barred red carpet look, stella wore a matching pants and bralet from the Moschino 2016 collection which has not hit the markets yet. She matched the bright yellow and red tones of the outfit with fiery red eyeliners and her blonde locks tied up high.

Cassie went wild with Yellow and Gold. She followed Kylie Jenner's trend of color wigs but went a little too far with a bright yellow lob wig. To counter the wig she had a pair of shining golden bellbottoms and grey blazer with gold buttons with nothing inside. Yet again she copied 'bikini chain' trend started by Kylie Jenner by going for a gold 'Link Bra' body chain.

Farrah Abraham went for the "Wonder Woman" look with a skimpy outfit. Farrah impersonation of super girl ensured that she showed a lot of cleavage and almost all of her long legs highlighted with silver platform boots. She even dyed her hair blue and painted "OG" on her arms.

In a bizarre fashion move from MTV VMAs red carpet, Nev Schulman's pregnant girlfriend Laura Perlongo flaunted her baby bump a bit too much. She went topless with just an open olive green jacket held together by criss cross chains. The couple turned the red carpet into a pregnancy photoshoot in maybe the most outrageous fashion outing in the events history.

While others tried hard and went overboard with bizarre, outrageous and quirky outfits to gain the spotlight, Beyoncé hit the spot with loud but stylish outfit to win over the MTV VMAs. She wore an Angelic Francesco Scognamiglio dress with greyish blue tint and feathered shoulders (not too different from wings) topped with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. So when she was nominated for the Out of this (OTT) World Award, her outfit won hands down.
