Daughter of Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner, Kendall did her very first runway for her mom and Kourt's Smooch Boutique. It was a charity event.
Then she walked the runway for the Sherri Hill spring 2013 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Trump Tower Grand Corridor on September 7, 2012 in New York City. She did this with her sister, Kylie. This was a very special event for her and here is what she has to say about it "I will never forget that day (I wore a red dress 👗) because I knew then that modeling was what I wanted to do with my life". Here she met Hailey Baldwin, who later became one of her close friends.
Sherri's dresses are always incredible. Kendall's three looks included a crystal embroidered satin bodice with an ostrich feather skirt, a burgundy crystal bodysuit with a chiffon gown and a silver satin Swarovski jeweled bustier and metallic fringe shorts.
Today Kendall is Oh-So-Confident but at the beginning this was not the scenario.
Kendall Jenner landed her first ever modeling gig — a photoshoot for prom dress designer Sherri Hill. After nailing the photoshoot, Sherri asked Kendall to stick around for the runway show. Kendall wanted to turn down the opportunity since it conflicted with cheer leading practice, but Kim insisted she could make it. Later, Kendall told the Keeping Up With the Kardashians crew, "Runway is just not what I want to do right now. It's a little intimidating to me."
The Albanian American fashion photographer Fadil Berish was her first photographer. Later she did many Sherri shoots with him.
The biggest achievement of Kendall's career was the American Vogue cover appearance.
