Chiam Pregnant?

Twitter went wild on Monday when some of Liam Payne's dedicated followers believed that the hashtag "#congratsliam" confirmed news of his fatherhood.

Upon receiving the news of the One Direction member signing a solo deal with Republic Records, Twitter started the "#congratsliam" trend to show support for the 23-year-old heart-throb.
But few fans who were unaware of the contract mistakenly believed that the singer had confirmed rumours that he and his girlfriend, Cheryl Ann Fernandez-Versini, were expecting their first child.

Liam and Cheryl have been dating since December shortly after he broke things off with childhood crush, Sophia Smith.

Recently, the 33-year-old British beauty has been seen a number of times with a rounded tum, while her mum has been spotted shopping for supplies in Mothercare.

The rumours about the Chiam pregnancy date back to September when a source told Now magazine: "Cheryl's never been more determined to have a baby. It's like it's the only thing in the world that matters to her."

"She's never been so focused on something. Cheryl has a stash of pregnancy and motherhood books she's always reading."
