Kangana Ranaut's upcoming project is Hansal Meheta's Simran. She is shooting in U.S.A for this film.
Unfortunately Kangana Ranaut met with an accident while heading to her hotel in Atlanta from the sets after the shoot. She was accompanied by some of the crew members when this mishap occurred near Georgia.
Sources said: "A local driver was behind the wheel and was driving in the leftmost lane (meant for fast-moving traffic) on highway 381. Suddenly, he started coughing profusely and then blacked out while on the move. Kangana had a few minor scratches on her elbows and her forehead that bled a little, but nothing major happened. Similarly, Kangana’s team members also suffered a few minor injuries. Later, the film’s makers ensured that Kangana and the others went to the hospital for checkups to ensure no one suffered from any internal injuries."
Kangana Ranaut's bodyguard tried to avoid the accident by controlling the steering but he was seated next to the chauffeur. With proper aid from the local police everyone was taken care of.
Amidst her injury, Kangana Ranaut made sure everyone received proper treatment and she even resumed shooting from the next day.
Producer Shailesh R Singh told: "It was a narrow escape. It’s a miracle that they had no injuries. Kangana is a brave girl. She refused to take a break and has resumed the shoot."
